Adding a new book to WhosReadit.com

Whilst we strive to have as many books as possible on our database (books are constantly added!) its obviously not possible to have them all. If there is a book you would like to have that isn't there you can now upload it..

Adding a new book is simple although you must have all the required details to enter and an image of the book's front cover. This is so that it can be displayed and indexed properly. Below is a list of what is required (all of this information should be easily available from the publishers website).

1	Image of the book's front cover	A picture file of the front cover of the book
2	The book title	Full name of the book. Please check the exact spelling!	Northern Lights
3	The authors name	Full name of the author. Again please check the exact spelling	John Kennedy Toole
4	Publisher name	The publisher of the book	Penguin Books Ltd
5	Date published	The date the book was published. Note: this must be in the format YYYY-MM-DD. So if the date is 25 Feb 1999 it would be entered a per the example in the next column:	1999-02-25
6	ISBN13 number	All books printed in the UK have a unique 13 digit ISBN number. Some times this is written with a dash in between certain numbers. Please remove this.	9780140282689
7	Category	The category the book should be placed under	Modern fiction
8	Description	A brief description of the book. Normally the text from the back cover which should be available from the publishers website.	A monument to sloth, rant and contempt, and suspicious of anything modern - this is Ignatius J. Reilly of New Orleans, crusader against dunces.
